Q - Do you feel any extra pressure to points on the board against the Rams?
A - I think there is always pressure when you go out on Sundays but I think when you play against a team like the Rams you know that they have the potential to score a lot of points. I think for us that means taking care of the ball and capitalizing on drives when we put them together, not giving them a short field. So it changes your thinking a little bit but you still want to go out and play your own game.
Q - Do you think of the Rams as a rival game?
A - Yeah, we've played them every year for the last four or five years, every year since I've been here and I think it is fun. You get to know guys, you play them every year, you know what to expect from them. There are really no secrets about what we do; they know everything we do and we know pretty much everything they do. So, it just comes down to going out and playing football. They've got good players and we've got good players. There has been some good games in the series so it should be a lot of fun.
Q - What is the biggest challenge you are going to face with the Rams defense?
A- They are a very active defense. They really try to get pressure on the quarterback; their two ends are really fast up the field ends; they get good pressure in the middle; their linebackers are fast. Overall their team's speed on defense is about as fast as anybody we play.
Archuleta, you always have to account for him, he is always around the ball and he can really create some problems for you. They've got some young corners who are a little bit inexperienced but you look on film and they don't look like it, they can play. It is going to be a big challenge for us. They are going to come in here fired up, they always play hard, play fast and they can make you look bad sometimes.
Q - Warner, do you have a special type of challenge to play against him?
A- Not really, basically when I go into the game I think about one thing and that is winning. I don't care who the other quarterback is, I don't care who the running back is or anything else. The bottom line to this game is that I want to win the game. I know Kurt is a great quarterback; he has proved that but the second that I go outside of the scope of what we are trying to do here as a football team and as a offense is when I'm setting us up for mistakes.
