Coach Fassel's Game Review

"There are some areas to clean up, but we also know that we can get better and that is a good football team we beat today, so I am proud of their effort and proud of their toughness."<BR><BR>

"First of all, it's always good to win your first game, its good to win any game. I was proud of this team. Like I told them, I said I thought we showed a lot of toughness, physical and mental toughness. When we're turning the ball over, which was really hurting us, I felt like we could move the ball. I think our defense went on the field and played extremely well. We had some injuries. I had to adjust a lot of things. There are some areas to clean up, but we also know that we can get better and that is a good football team we beat today, so I am proud of their effort and proud of their toughness."

Fassel on the D-Line:

"The pressure on the quarterback was paramount. And obviously getting the fumble in the end zone and hitting him and bouncing him around got him out of sync a little bit and to rotate those guys - we needed to - because those guys haven't had - you know - played a full game in the NFL and a lot of them missed time in camp. So we needed to do that."

On the pressure the defense put on Warner:

"It was good to see that because I wasn't real happy with enough pressure in the preseason on the quarterback. And I didn't want him getting out of the pocket. We were going for the ball…I think in a lot of parts our guys really played pretty well on defense."

Q. On the play of Omar Stoutmire:

"Since Omar came here, he is a bright guy, he is a heads up guy, he is a good football player. He has made plays for us the whole time he has been here."

On Petitgout's health status:

"His back tightened up on him. There is nothing wrong. His back tightened up. With time I would anticipate right now that he would be playing next week without a problem."
