New York's only other injury question revolves around WR IKe Hilliard, who is expected to make his return this Sunday.
On Monday Fassel spoke about WR Joe Jurevicius and LB Micheal Barrow, both who received game balls for their standout efforts against the Chiefs.
Fassel on Jurevicius: "Joe got the offensive game ball for us. What Joe did during to game, after presenting him with the game ball and my feelings after watching the tape, Joe went out and really competed. Joe showed me that he wanted to compete. It wasn't like a back up player stepping in and saying, I'm happy to be here, Joe played the game like he was a starting, dependable, reliable player. He competed for the ball, he blocked, he was aggressive all over the field. He's shown to me that you don't have to worry about him.
"I have all the confidence in the world in Joe. Joe's matured in the way he approaches the game, in the way he plays the game, he's gotten better as a receiver and understanding what we want him to do, he's grown a lot."
Fassel on Barrow: "Micheal Barrow got the defensive game ball. Not for what he said the night before, which was outstanding, or the leadership he showed, but he played an outstanding game. Typical goal of what we wanted to bring in here. Since Micheal came here he's a guy that has a lot of enthusiasm, he loves to play the game, he's an attack player, he's got athletic skills, he's not afraid to speak his mind. He's a motivator to everybody on this team. I thought he really played an excellent ball game."
