LT Luke Petitgout, who missed the Dallas game after suffering back spasms on opening day, returned to practice Wednesday. "I think he'll be ready," Fassel said. The coach said he will keep the remainder of the line intact, which means Chris Bober will stay at right tackle and rookie Wayne Lucier will continue to play center.
"Luke is a good player for us," Fassel said. "If I put him back in, it means that I don't really have to worry about that position much. I am going to keep an eye on him because he's missed some time and his back is sore. I think his back is going to be fine, but I can help him out from time to time."
* DT Keith Hamilton missed practice with a pulled hamstring suffered against Dallas. He is listed as questionable on the injury report.
