"I'm concerned about it," Jim Fassel said. "Lucier was feeling better today, but not well enough to practice. He is still weak. (Lucier's doctor) said all the tests are coming back fine, so he'll probably practice tomorrow and should be fine for the game on Sunday. Luke is sore. I wanted to back off."
Also sitting out were defensive linemen Kenny Holmes (knee) and Cornelius Griffin (ankle). Holmes has missed several practices in recent weeks, but has played well during the games. Griffin was hurt in Minnesota and is questionable for the Jets game. Lance Legree would start in his place.
"I don't think Griff's going to make it," Fassel said.
Reserve cornerback Kato Serwanga missed practice with a sprained ankle. He is probable for the game.
