A Q&A with Eagles WR Terrell Owens

"I just see myself as a guy that can come in and make some plays and it's not for me to say if I'm the missing link or not, but I definitely know my position on the team."

Q: With the new emphasis on no contact after five yards, do you feel it is an advantage to you? A: I think it is in an advantage for any receiver.

RE: Your evaluation of Will Peterson and Will Allen...last time you played them was during that playoff game in San Francisco, there was some trash talking. Do you expect any more of that? A: All I know is that we won. That's it.

Q: McNabb has never had an All-World caliber receiver such as yourself, do you look at yourself as the missing link? What can you do to help Donovan get to the next level? A: I just see myself as a guy that can come in and make some plays and it's not for me to say if I'm the missing link or not, but I definitely know my position on the team. I'm definitely here to try to win a Super Bowl, and that's the stand that I'm taking right now. We're going to take our first step toward that on Sunday.

Q: The Giants secondary had some problems during the preseason and Will Allen hasn't practiced the early part of the week because of a knee injury, does that kind of make you lick your chops a bit?

A: I haven't paid any attention to it.
