Kerry, can you talk about the final drive . . .
We actually started off the drive in regular personnel, which is probably our most versatile personnel. Great way to start it off, getting Amani on that slant-and-go hitting him in the hole from the four-yard line, getting out, getting some room, hit a big play right off the bat was big. We stayed with that personnel for a couple of more plays and then we got to two minutes and we switched to our "100 people" which is four wides, two minute operation.
We had time, we had time outs, we had some things on our side, it wasn't like we didn't have things going in our favor. After that, they didn't "cozy," they didn't dog, they didn't do any blitzes, they didn't do anything like that, we just got great time from the guys up front and let guys work. Everybody was involved. Joe had a couple big ones, Ike of course with the touchdown in the end, Amani . . . it seemed like everybody was in the mix. I don't know if we threw to Tiki or not but our big three at wide receiver were the ones that made the plays.
The touchdown play
We spread everybody out and basically they had combination coverage on Amani and on Joe, and it left Ike one-on-one. That route is a "get open" route, Ike just does whatever he can to get open and he's got a four-way go-he can go back, he can cut across, he can do whatever he wants and the guy was playing him so he couldn't get across his face and I knew Ike was going to put his foot in the ground and come on out. It was simultaneous, when I threw the ball, he put his foot in the ground, came out and there it was.
It's not the first time we've done that, we've done that a number of times before. That kind of chemistry, that kind of rapport, that's hard to find.
Next week you have Philly, you'd rather not be in this situation of coming back at the end...
These days we'll take 'em any way we can get 'em. Certainly we know what kind of game it's going to be down there. Its gonna be tough-we're still alive. It's a huge game and we know that. We're gonna have a good Christmas and we're gonna come back and we're gonna get ready to play.
