Giants ink 9

The Giants this week signed nine players to contracts, including four that ended the season on the team's practice squad:

Wide receivers Jason Geathers of Miami and Michael Jennings of Florida State, defensive end Claude Harriott of Pittsburgh and defensive back Art Thomas of Virginia. Also signed were wide receivers Ataveus Cash of Hampton, who was with the Giants in training camp last summer, Tony Johnson of Penn State, former Penn State kicker David Kimball and Lamont Brightful, a cornerback/return specialist from Eastern Washington.

Finally, the Giants came to terms with Lewis Kelly, an offensive lineman that played four years with the Vikings. He never captured a starting spot, but could provide New York's OL some depth.
