Giants Lose the Coin Toss

The Giants just can't catch a break these days. With the NFL draft coming up, the Giants were tied with the Tennessee Titans for drafting position. With all the tie-breakers even, the decision was left to a coin toss, and the Giants came out on the tail end once again.

As Ken Palmer reported earlier in the week, the Giants first round draft pick will be in the 15th position overall, with the Tennessee Titans selecting 14th in the first round.

After the first round of the NFL draft, the Giants and Titans will alternate selections in subsequent rounds.

Other teams flipping coins for draft position were the Cleveland Browns and the Atlanta Falcons. Cleveland won their coin toss against the Falcons and will pick 16th in the first round of next month's NFL draft. Atlanta will choose 17th.

Both clubs also finished last season with identical 7-9 records and their opponents had the same composite records, requiring the flip.

With both coin flips being complete, the first round of the NFL draft will be as follows:
