Information from ESPN's Profile

Notes: Has run 4.8 on a very fast surface. Older brother Chris was a star quarterback at Northwest Missouri State and was the Cardinals' No. 3 quarterback the past three years. Nick was a high school All-America linebacker-running back who lettered as a true freshman at Wisconsin in 1998, when he was in on 14 tackles but had to sit out five games with a pulled hamstring. In '99, he lettered again and was in on 10 stops. Stepped in as the team's starting middle linebacker in 2000 and was in on a team- and Big Ten-best 146 tackles. Included in his tackle total were 14 stops for loss and six sacks. He also picked off three passes and broke up five others. In '01, he improved his overall production and had 167 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and four sacks. He picked off two passes and broke up two others.

Positives: Great character and work ethic. Very competitive. Will always get the most out of his ability. Greisen is a tough, smart, aggressive player who reads and reacts well and has a nose for the ball. He can flow and tackle and is an aware player in zone coverage with good hands.

Negatives: Is somewhat limited in terms of size, speed, functional football strength and athletic ability. Really has a hard time shedding blocks and often gets wired to the blocker. Makes too many of his tackles 5-10 yards down the field. Has only average range and can be outrun. Does not have the speed or agility to stay with a back in coverage and looks a little stiff dropping into coverage.

Summary: Has a chance because of his intangibles and toughness, but from a physical standpoint, he is not what teams are looking for.
