Information from ESPN's Profile:

Notes: Redshirted in 1997, special-teams player and backup in '98, missed most of the '99 season after hurting his knee in the spring, and a backup and special-teams player who started twice at outside linebacker in 2000. Really came into his own in '01, starting every game at outside linebacker and leading the team in tackles. Had 22 tackles, with 20 on special teams in 1998; three tackles in '99; 26 tackles, with 13 on special teams, in 2000, when he also had three tackles for loss and two sacks. Had 111 tackles, including 12 for loss and three sacks in '01, when he also picked off two passes and broke up five.

Positives: Very athletic for a linebacker and has explosive speed for a 'backer. Good hitter. Excellent special-teams player. Really came on in 2001, when he looked so much more instinctive on defense. Can run with a back or even a slot receiver in coverage.

Negatives: Lacks size. Is tough but not physical. May be too small for a linebacker and is a major projection as a strong safety. Is not that fluid turning his hips, and unless that is a correctable mechanical problem, that will really hurt him as a defensive back.

Summary: Intriguing prospect who can really run and should contribute on special teams.
