All-Atlantic Coast Conference second-team selection by The NFL Draft Report…Started all year at strongside outside linebacker, ranking second on the team with a career-high 125 tackles (81 solos), including six stops for losses of 14 yards…Intercepted two passes and deflected eight others…Recovered two fumbles and caused three others…Credited with six quarterback pressures.

Oklahoma…Stopped tailback Quentin Griffin for a 5-yard loss and posted 8 tackles.

Maryland…Deflected 3 passes and made 9 hits (5 solos).

Texas…Recovered a fumble and delivered 13 tackles (11 solos).

Florida State…Had 9 tackles and caused a fumble (which he also recovered), advancing the ball 9 yards.

North Carolina State…Forced a fumble and posted 12 tackles (10 solos).

Virginia…Collected 10 tackles (6 solos) with 3 pressures.

Clemson…Batted away a pair of passes, intercepted another and delivered 7 tackles (5 solos) with 2 stops behind the line of scrimmage.

Georgia Tech…Followed with a 17-tackle performance. (9 solos).

Wake Forest…Registered a career-high 23 tackles (16 solos) with 2 stops for minus 6 yards, 2 pass deflections and a pair of pressures…Also had an interception.

Stepped into a starting role after Merceda Perry went down with a broken ankle against Wake Forest, starting the final nine games of the season…Fourth on the team with 76 tackles (35 solos), including two sacks for minus 19 yards and six stops for losses of 31 yards…Deflected a pass and had three quarterback pressures.

Florida State…Deflected a pass and made 15 tackles (10 solos) with a stop behind the line of scrimmage.

Georgia Tech…Followed with a 10-tackle performance.

North Carolina State…Added 7 hits (5 solos), including one for a loss.

Virginia…Made 5 tackles and sacked QB Dan Ellis for a 10-yard loss.

Pittsburgh…Collected 6 tackles and dragged down QB David Priestly for a 9-yard sack.

Maryland…Delivered 10 tackles (5 solos) with a pair of stops behind the line of scrimmage.

Duke…Closed out the season with another 10-tackle effort.

 

1999 SEASON
Played in all 11 games, starting the final seven contests at left outside linebacker…Made 42 tackles (25 solos) with two sacks for minus 26 yards and three stops for losses of 28 yards…Caused a fumble and had a quarterback pressure.

Georgia Tech…In his first career start, he responded with 6 tackles (4 solos).

Houston…Caused a fumble and posted 8 tackles with a 9-yard sack.

Furman…Added a stop behind the line of scrimmage and 6 hits (5 solos).

Duke…Had 3 tackles, including a 17-yard sack.

 

1998 SEASON
