No plans for retirement

Giants GM Ernie Accorsi has been a general manager in the NFL for 14 years, but the 60 year-old GM has no immediate plans to retire.

It looked as though GM Ernie Accorsi was thinking of retirement when the Giants restructured their front office.

Promotions of Jerry Reese to assistant pro personnel director, and Kevin Abrams to assistant general manager, along with Marv Sunderland's reassignment all pointed to a possible Accorsi retirement.

However, in an interview with the New York Daily News, Accorsi said of retirement "I haven't thought about any timetable...I don't see myself (retiring) in the immediate future..."

Fans can expect Accorsi to continue calling the shots for the next few years...
