Shockey upgraded to probable for Sunday

The Giants and their fans got some really good news on Friday. Tight end Jeremy Shockey, who missed last week's game in Oakland because of an ankle injury, continues to improve and has been upgraded to probable.

"The game isn't until Sunday, so I don't think I need to be a hundred percent until then," Shockey said. "I did more today than I did all week, and I think I'm getting a lot better. It's still sore, but like I said, the game is Sunday, and that's when I need to be a hundred percent."

Defensive tackle Fred Robbins and linebacker Eric Moore, who did not practice this week because of hamstring injuries, were downgraded from doubtful to out for Sunday's game. Linebacker Reggie Torbor (hamstring) and wide receiver Tim Carter (hip) also did not practice and are listed as questionable. Coughlin said Torbor's availability will be a game-time decision.
