New DBs in town

Less than a week after adding veteran CB Sam Madison the Giants continued to bolster their beleaguered secondary with the signing of two free agents – corner R.W. McQuarters and safety Quentin Harris.

McQuarters, who posted 60 tackles and a pair of interceptions last season with Detroit, was previously courted by the Giants last offseason. McQuarters is due $6 million during the next three seasons and could top $7 million with performance-based bonuses. He's likely pegged to play nickel corner for Big Blue and also serve as the backup kick and punt returner behind the recently re-signed Chad Morton.

As for Harris, he's likely to serve in a reserve safety role and contribute on special teams. He posted 24 specialty stops for Arizona last year.

Big Blue is scheduled to host Ravens safety Will Demps today.

Also, TGI has learned that free agent LB Nick Greisen visited with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.
