Monk Agrees to Terms

The Giants and their seventh round draft pick have agreed to terms. The linebacker will sign a three year deal prior to training camp.

According to Inside Football, the Giants have reached agreement with seventh-round draft pick Quincy Monk out of North Carolina.

Monk will sign the three-year contract, prior to reporting to training camp in July.

Terms of the deal include a signing bonus of $25,500 and base salaries of $225,000 in 2002, $300,000 in 2003 and $380,000 in 2004.
