Giants select LB in third round

With their third-round pick, 96th overall, the Giants selected Georgia Tech linebacker Gerris Wilkinson. The 6-4, 231-pounder can play both inside and outside linebacker.

He's an outstanding linebacker and a very versatile player," Giants GM Ernie Accorsi said. "He's big and fast and he's 6-3, 231.  He can run and he played four positions in four years.
