Thurs Morning Camp Notes

Ken Palmer is in Albany reporting back with some camp tidbits.

Some unexpected surprises today sent the Giants training camp off to a good start.

For starters, second round pick WR Tim Carter signed his contact in the morning and was on the practice field catching all kinds of passes thrown his way.

Some of the players on injury watch started practicing as well. CB Jason Sehorn was on the field for morning practice, and fully expects to practice this afternoon as well.

WR Ike Hilliard was out there with the team as well working out, and is likely to practice this afternoon, assuming no problems with his injury.

Unfortunately, as reported earlier in the week, Center Dusty Zeigler did not practice and was relegated to the sideline.

In his place, Jason Whittle was at center with Mike Rosenthal at right guard.
