Mathias Kiwanuka – He stood out most by not backing down to Rich Seubert as the two tussled late in one practice. Kiwanuka certainly looks the part, and is built like a thoroughbred. It's obviously way too early to pass judgment, but his speed around the edge has been a positive.
Sinorice Moss – He was supposed to be camp's biggest star, but so far we haven't seen much at all. Moss missed several days with a quad strain, but he wasn't all that impressive when he was healthy. The burst and quickness we saw all offseason haven't made their way up to Albany just yet.
Gerris Wilkinson – He seems very instinctive and fast. The Giants have already utilized him in a lot of nickel and dime packages and his versatility should certainly get him on the field quicker instead of later. He should also help out on the coverage units right from the start.
Barry Cofield – He quietly goes about his business, as all good DTs are supposed to. He's a long way from cracking the starting lineup, but it appears that he's picking things up quickly and is adept at occupying two blockers at once.
Guy Whimper – He had a rough go early in camp, as he was repeatedly beaten badly one practice by Justin Tuck. But everyone knows that Whimper is a bit of a project. He definitely has the raw ability and it appears the desire to improve.
Charles Peprah – He's been around the ball a lot and we've heard his name called often – both good and bad. He's in a very crowded position and is going to have to make a few big plays to catch someone's eye, and also excel on special teams.
Gerrick McPhearson – He's dropped more than one potential interception, including one that he likely would have returned to paydirt. That's the knock on McPhearson and he's going to have to pick things up quickly in order to change that label.
