Inside the Injury Report

The Giants list five players on their injury list, led by LB LaVar Arrington, who will absolutely, positively play Sunday against his former club, the Redskins.

Arrington, who's been taking off Wednesdays on a weekly basis this year, is listed as probable due to his knee.

Safety James Butler is doubtful due to his knee and is unlikely to play. Butler contributes mostly on special teams.

A trio of Giants are already ruled out for Sunday's matchup. The headliner of the group is starting WLB Carlos Emmons, who said he wanted to play despite a slightly torn pectoral muscle. As first reported in TGI, he'll be replaced in the starting lineup by rookie Gerris Wilkinson, who will be backed up by Brandon Short.

Rookie WR Sinorice Moss is still shelved with his quad injury. It's unlikely that Moss will play for a while now. His spot has been filled by David Tyree and Michael Jennings.

Finally, RB Derrick Ward is still sidelined with his broken foot and is still at least a couple weeks away.
