Players Defend Hufnagel

In addition to Tom Coughlin, both of his coordinators have come under heavy scrutiny during the club's four-game losing streak.

That skid has left them scrambling for a wildcard playoff berth, a month after they had talked about securing home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Most of the offensive struggles have been blamed on the play-calling of OC John Hufnagel. While Coughlin dismissed suggestions that he take over the play-calling duties last week, two of New York's most integral offensive players threw their support squarely behind Hufnagel on Monday.

"I think he's calling good plays," Eli Manning said. "He understands what I like to do. We were prepared (against Dallas). We had some good ideas."

"His offense is fine to me," Plaxico Burress added. "It's just one of those things that we have to be in the right place."…

Rookie Sinorice Moss said he felt great a day after his second career professional game. Moss found out Sunday morning that he was going to suit up after missing all but one other game of his rookie campaign and participated in four plays. He caught one pass for a 10-yard gain.

"It felt good being back," Moss said. "The crowd was happy I was back. It was good to get a catch early and get upfield and make a play."
