Agent: Hood Would 'Love To' APlay for Giants

While Eagles free agent CB Roderick Hood has yet to finalize plans to visit New York, his agent said he thinks his client and Big Blue would be a match made in pigskin heaven.

"He's a perfect fit," George Mavrikes said. "He'd love to be a Giant."

Hood, who totalled 121 tackles and five interceptions in his four-year career in Philly, has two visits already planned. He's scheduled to visit Cleveland on Saturday, then arrive in Arizona Sunday evening for a Monday visit.

"He does have two visits but that doesn't preclude him from coming to the Giants," Mavrikes added.

The 5-11, 196-pound Hood is expected to only agree to a deal with a club that will guarantee him a legitimate shot to start at corner. The Giants may very well be such a team since there have been talks of moving Sam Madison, who started last season, inside to play nickel corner.
