I don't know what to say. I am disappointed. I thought that we were prepared and ready to go for that game, I thought we came out and played. It is what I told them right from the beginning, we're minus two on the turn over ratio against a team that, since Steve and I have been here we have both been in the top five as far as giving the ball up and I thought that that could be a factor. I said it before the game, I said it to them and we end up with three, they get one.
Penalties, some of them I just can't understand, we have them taking back big plays. It's the same way I have said it the whole time I have been in this league, we cannot make those kinds of mistakes and win a football game. We were fully capable of winning that football game so it is a bitter pill to swallow right now.
What did you think of Omar Stoutmire?
I thought he played very well from what I saw; I thought he played extremely well.
I think our defense played an outstanding game. I went over to our offense and said 'hey listen, with the turnovers and the punting and stuff like that we are putting our defense on a short field'. I thought our defense played outstanding. The last series was unfortunate, that's when they made some big plays on us, we made some errors at that time too.
What about the extra timeouts?
Well, I wanted to save at least one. I mean you look at the clock and say you're going to need one no matter what you get time wise. You can't totally protect the boundaries, you throw one ball out of bounds and it is dead. I probably should have called it sooner but then I would have been out of them, I wouldn't have had any. I was hoping that we might knock a ball down and stop the clock.
What did you think about the interception?
It looked to me like it was clean. We tried to get replays but at the timeout I kept asking the guys and they said it doesn't look conclusive upstairs. They said I don't think you are going to get it overturned because nothing is clear.
They are a quick team. I thought we had good tempo but I think they took the tempo over and I don't think we matched; they seemed to be quicker to spots.
How did Tiki's hamstring affect his play?
I think he was fine, I don't think he reinjured himself. At times he really looked quick, other times when he came around the ends I didn't think it looked like he had the burst he usually does but I think it took a lot of guts to go out there and play?
What about special teams?
Over all, except for a couple bad punts that he shanked right off the side of his foot so we didn't get the yardage we wanted and except for the one kickoff I think we covered the kicks pretty well, blocked a field goal, returned the ball with decent yardage, overall it was fine.
