Giants '07 Preseason Features NBC Game

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants' 2007 four-game preseason schedule includes three opponents the team faced last year and a finishing kick that has them playing three games in 12 days.

The Giants' August schedule includes home games against the Carolina Panthers and Jets, and road games at Baltimore and New England. They will also face the Jets and Patriots in the regular season.

Last year, the Giants were 4-0 in August, their first perfect preseason record since 1990.

The preseason will begin for the Giants with a home game against the Panthers in Week 1. The exact date and time has yet to be determined. Week 1 will begin Thursday, Aug. 9 and end Monday, Aug. 13.

The Giants are 32-22-3 in preseason openers since 1950.

The Panthers are the Giants' only new preseason opponent. The Giants are 1-4 against the Panthers in the preseason. They defeated Carolina, 27-21, in the team's most recent preseason meeting on Aug. 20, 2005 in Giants Stadium. The teams also played preseason games in 1995, 1996, 2003 and 2004.
