TGI Makes the Pick

With the NFL Draft only hours away, it's time for TGI to make the Giants' pick.

Needless to say, TGI has as good a chance – if not much better – as anyone else at nailing what Big Blue will do in round one.

After the Giants attempt to trade up for offensive tackle Levi Brown, who doesn't make it out of the top 10, they sit tight at number 20 and can't pass up another Penn Stater – linebacker Paul Posluszny. While the Giants didn't have Posluszny in for an official visit, they were impressed enough at the Combine and believe that he's going to be a big-time playmaker on the NFL level – regardless of where he lines up – so they tab him with their first-round pick.

The Giants also heavily weigh a couple other ‘backers – Florida State's Lawrence Timmons and Jon Beason of Miami, as well as CB Chris Houston and WR Ted Ginn, Jr., but decide that Poz is too good to pass up.
