A mobile blood center will be located on the east side of U-Albany's SEFCU Arena, which is adjacent to the Giants practice fields. Donors will have a chance to win Giants game tickets, an autographed jersey and other prizes.
Each day, the New York Blood Center must collect 2,000 units of lifesaving blood to treat patients in hospitals across New York and New Jersey. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. For more information, visit their Web site, www.nybloodcenter.org. TGI urges you to please come out to help support a good cause.
Please check out TGI's newest feature "Live From the Sidelines!" in the lower left column of our site for up-to-the minute news reports from Albany.
