Yet Burress sprained his right ankle after he came down following a catch during Thursday evening's workout. Burress, who had offseason surgery on his left ankle, missed Friday's practice. However, Giants coach Tom Coughlin said it wasn't anything to worry about.
"I don't know if he will be back tomorrow but within a couple of days he should be back," Coughlin said.
Elsewhere on the injury front, cornerback Kevin Dockery watched practice for the first time since he suffered a concussion a week ago.
"He was much better today," Coughlin said.
"Dockery was in the meetings, he was on the field on the bike, and hopefully we will get him probably not tomorrow but for sure maybe early next week."...
