Rain, Rain Go Away

Tom Coughlin pushed up the start of Thursday evening's practice a half-hour due to the threat of rain in the Albany area.

However, New York got through its workout, which mostly involved preparations for Baltimore, unscathed.

Eli Manning looked particularly sharp in the workout. He completed a long pass down the middle to Jeremy Shockey, rolled to his left and fired a strike to Michael Jennings, hooked up with Amani Toomer sprinting down the right sideline and found Jennings again, this time floating a pass over E.J. Underwood.

Toomer caught several passes during the session, while Anthony Mix had another impressive reception, jumping up and blocking off Aaron Ross to grab a Jared Lorenzen pass.

Rookie tight end Kevin Boss returned to practice fully after being limited since the Carolina game with a shoulder contusion. Those missing practice included wide receivers Plaxico Burress (ankle), Sinorice Moss (ankle) and Marco Thomas (groin), cornerbacks Corey Webster (hip flexor) and Gerrick McPhearson (groin), linebacker Gerris Wilkinson (knee), safeties Michael Stone (hip) and Craig Dahl (groin), linebacker Zak DeOssie (ankle), center Todd Londot (ankle) and long-snapper Ryan Kuehl (calf).
