It was no surprise that Strahan said that he felt good and that he believed he could play Sunday night.
"I feel good – I'll see how I feel tomorrow," Strahan said after practice. "Today I ran a lot more plays than I've run the last two days. As long as I feel good, I'll be out there."
Giants coach Tom Coughlin, however, said he will "probably" wait until Saturday to make a final decision on putting Strahan in uniform.
"I have to assess every day when we come back together," Coughlin said. "And as I said, see how he is doing."...
*Right defensive end Osi Umenyiora did not practice today, but his absence was not injury-related.
"Osi had a personal issue," Coughlin said. "He went to participate in the birth of his child."...
Sam Madison practiced fully on Thursday and it appears more and more likely that he'll be able to play against the Cowboys.
Will Stray Play?
