MLB Micheal Barrow didn't practice today because of the pulled hamstring he suffered against the Jaguars. Barrow is listed as questionable for the Minnesota game. "It was precautionary," Head Coach Jim Fassel said. "He's a lot better today. It was tight yesterday. The bottom line is you want players to do things on their own, not in a team drill, where they sprint."
RB Tiki Barber, who hurt his leg near the end of Sunday's game, practiced and should be ready to play. "Tiki is fine," Fassel said.
CB Will Peterson twice tweaked his ailing toe and cut short his Wednesday workout.
Fassel said he was concerned about some of the snaps delivered by long-snapper Bob Jones on punts and placekicks last week. "We have to clean that up," Fassel said. "He has good velocity to get it back there. He has to tighten up (his accuracy). When he's true and on, he's outstanding. He just has to keep that consistency."
The Giants this week play in the Metrodome. They are 15-11 in domed stadiums, including a 26-21 victory in the Edward Jones Dome in St on Sept. 15. They are 1-1 in the Metrodome, winning in 1986 and losing last season.
LDE Michael Strahan has sacked 45 different quarterbacks in regular season games in his career, but Minnesota's Daunte Culpepper is not one of them. However, Strahan did sack Culpepper in the 2000 NFC Championship Game.
