AttaJerry – Reese Making All Right Moves

Giants fans really have nothing in the world to worry about. The reason? Their second-year GM Jerry Reese continues to make all the right moves.

Concerned about the status of Plaxico Burress and Jeremy Shockey? Fear not. Reese will surely make the correct decision on both fronts.

His latest gem was to lock up likely future Pro Bowl right guard Chris Snee. According to a Star-Ledger report, Snee is now under contract through the 2014 season. Yes, another contract squabble squelched well before it could rear its ugly head.

For all the heroes identified during New York's Super run last season, none rank any higher than the five-man conglomerate up front – the offensive linemen.

This is the third time this offseason that Reese made a move to ensure that his very, very solid OL stays intact. He inked LG Rich Seubert to an extension in March and in May gave LT David Diehl a new deal that will keep him in Giants blue until 2014. Center Shaun O'Hara and RT Kareem McKenzie are both property of Reese and the Giants through the 2012 campaign.

As for Reese, at this rate, perhaps Giants ownership should look to lock him up for the next several decades.
