First of all the NFC East, from a division standpoint, is the best division in football. It doesn't matter if the people say that it is not the strongest in a particular year or one thing or another. Since I have been there it doesn't really matter about records. You have to show up on that Sunday ready to play when you play the Giants or the Redskins. It is the only division where all four teams are in the top media markets in the country and it is just a unique division. When we play the Giants it is just a battle of the NFC rivalry that we have.
Q: Who is the toughest tight end you have ever faced?
A: I really don't know because I didn't get to go against Jeremy last time, but probably James Whalen from our team.
Q: How does Shockey compare to Whalen, or the best you have faced?
A: I don't know. They are both cocky, they both have skills and they are both damn good receivers. They both have that attitude, that cockiness, it's really all about that cockiness and knowing they can beat a defensive back. It drives them to keep going.
Q: Can you cover Jeremy Shockey?
A: Can you write good papers?
Q: Is that a yes?
Q: Do you figure to be covering him most of the time?
A: We'll see. We haven't really talked about that yet, but I know I will have my chances to cover him.
