Which LB Will it Be?

No, the Giants aren't going to go after Ray Lewis or the recently-released Derrick Brooks.

Bart Scott? Forget about it.

Scott would cost too much to fit into what the Giants are trying to get done this offseason. But there is one young, promising linebacker that the Giants have their eyes on. His name's Michael Boley and he spent the past four seasons playing for the Falcons.

The 6-3, 223-pound Boley has the athleticism to fit in perfectly on the outside in new defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan's aggressive defense. At 26 years old, the Giants likely would be getting Boley in the prime of his career. During his four seasons in Atlanta, the Southern Miss product posted 330 tackles (averaging 82.5 per season) and notched six sacks and five interceptions.

Of course, free agency doesn't officially open until Feb. 27. TGI just wanted to give you a name to keep your eye on so you're not caught off guard if/when the Giants ink Boley.
