What did you think about the NFL statement?
I knew about that earlier today and talked to Mike over there. It does us no good. It doesn't do us a damn bit of good. It is water under the bridge. It was pass interference. It was clearly pass interference. How they missed that I do not know. It wasn't the only one but I think that is very disappointing.
Does it add to the disappointment?
It adds to the frustration. You just have to...I don't know. Coming down to the wire there were a lot of things that we could've done to win that game and officials missing a call is just one that adds to it. But I knew it right at the time. I knew right at the time that it was pass interference. There was so much commotion at the end that there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't challenge it. I couldn't do anything. I tried to talk to them a couple times when they were fumbling with the clock and they wouldn't listen. They said that they should've done it. It is part of what you have to live with. Do you like it? Absolutely not because we are the ones that actually end up suffering. But that is the way it is. That's the way that it is.
What was your immediate reaction when the NFL made the announcement?
I expected them to. I saw it on tape this morning. It was pass interference clearly. So them confirming it is, 'o.k. at least you are honest.' It is not going to change anything. My stomach is already in knots. I don't need to tighten them up even more.
