His 2,840 receiving yards also set a school mark and placed him 11th all-time in the ACC. Almost needless to say, his 21 career touchdown receptions are also a school record. Nicks capped a stellar career against West Virginia in the Meineke Car Care Bowl when he hailed in eight passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns.
At 6-1, 212 pounds, the Charlotte native is the first Tar Heel underclassmen to declare for the NFL Draft since Julius Peppers in 2001.
