Brown's the Man at RB

Next up, a running back. Not to beat the old dead horse here, but the Giants just continue to methodically fill their needs. They did so at the end of the fourth round by taking North Carolina State RB Andre Brown with the 129th overall selection.

According to Ourlads, the 6-0, 224-pound Brown could be a draft surprise and steal and is reminiscent of Matt Forte, who burst on the scene as a rookie last year.

Brown really made a name for himself at the Senior Bowl when he flashed outstanding skills. He has good receiving talent, catching 81 passes in his career, and gives the Giants a great replacement for Derrick Ward. He'll compete for snaps with Ahmad Bradshaw and Danny Ware behind Brandon Jacobs.

In 44 games at NC State, Brown rushed for 2,539 yards, averaging close to five yards a carry. He totaled more than 3,500 all-purpose yards and scored a total of 24 touchdowns, 22 coming on the ground.
