Who's Hot? Who's Not?

A TGI insider's guide to who's tearing it up in Albany … and who's not quite getting it done…

Who's Hot…

WR Ramses Barden – Don't get too close to the big guy; he's about as hot as anybody after a couple weeks of camp.

S Kenny Phillips – It'd be kind of a surprise if he doesn't end up in the Pro Bowl this season. Talk about putting it all together.

RB Danny Ware – You'd think he's the starter with all the ink and attention he gets; it's because he's good enough to be.

DT Jay Alford – More than filled in for injured Fred Robbins at DT; secured a roster spot and a solid spot in the DT rotation as well.

CB Vince Anderson – Handled the switch from corner to safety without a peep and continues to make plays in the secondary.

WR Derek Hagan – If David Tyree isn't hearing footsteps already, he had better listen a lot closer.

RB Allen Patrick – He went from a practice squad candidate to a legitimate fourth RB with the injury to Andre Brown.

Who's Not…

QB Andre' Woodson – If only he could have translated some of his practice success into the game the other night.

WR Sinorice Moss – The super hot start to camp appears to have fizzled some. He's in the fight of his life for a roster spot.

K Lawrence Tynes – He makes so many more of his kicks than he misses, but still the confidence level when he lines up to try a three-pointer isn't nearly as high as it should be.

LB Gerris Wilkinson – Everyone loves him because he's such a great kid, but he's certainly running out of time to stave off what seems to be an imminent release.

LB Zak DeOssie – If they can find a way to replace him as the punt snapper, he's all but a goner.

DE Robert Henderson – Is he still even on the roster? We thought they got rid of him last year.

TE Darcy Johnson – Not to beat a dead horse, but his tentativeness is continuing to lead to missed blocks and dropped passes.
