Giants release pre-season schedule

The Giants will open the preseason at New England. They will host the Carolina Panthers and the Jets before concluding preseason play at Baltimore. Of those teams, only the Ravens will not face the Giants in the regular season. Dates and times of the preseason games will be announced at a later date. The regular season schedule is expected to be released in April.

The Giants will visit the Patriots in Preseason Week 1, which extends from Aug 7-11.

In Preseason Week 2 (Aug. 14-18), the Giants will host the Carolina Panthers, whose head coach, John Fox, was the Giants defensive coordinator from 1997-2001.

The third preseason game will be the annual meeting with the Jets. Preseason Week 3 is from Aug. 21-25. This season, the Giants are the home team in the preseason game.

The fourth and final preseason game will be played from Aug. 28-31 against the Ravens in Baltimore. It will be the eighth consecutive year the teams have met in the preseason.
