The Giants have signed tight end Mark Inkrott and long snapper Mike Malczyk to the team's 80-man roster.

Inkrott, who played at Findlay College, was signed as a rookie free agent by the Carolina Panthers on April 29, 2002 and was waived by the Panthers on June 20.

Inkrott, 6-4, 245, is third on Findlay's career receptions list with 124. As a senior in 2001, he was an All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference second team selection after leading the team with career-high totals of 46 catches for 649 yards and eight touchdowns. In his junior season, Inkrott caught 38 passes for 525 yards and five touchdowns.

Malczyk, a product of the University of Illinois, was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a rookie free agent on May 10, 2002. He was released on June 17.

Malczyk, 5-11, 232, played in 10 games as a senior at Illinois in 2001 and contributed four special teams tackles. He was an academic All-Big Ten honoree.
