Carr Rides Off Into Sunset

It was no surprise at all that David Carr left the Giants after two seasons as Big Blue's backup. Carr has agreed to terms with San Francisco and is expected to sign a deal with the 49ers on Monday.

Carr knew he had to change addresses in order to earn more playing time. Instead of being stuck behind the tremendously durable Eli Manning in New York, he'll now likely compete for the starting QB spot with another former number one overall pick - Alex Smith.

The Giants immediately went to work in hopes of replacing Carr by inviting former Colts QB Jim Sorgi in for a workout.
