Jaguars Report Card
PASSING OFFENSE: B - David Garrard completed only 11 passes but three of them went for touchdowns and he also ran five times for 32 yards. His best throw was a 48-yard touchdown pass to Jason Hill.
RUSHING OFFENSE: A - The Jaguars had two 100-yard rushers as Maurice Jones-Drew did it for the sixth time and Rashad Jennings did it for the first time in his two-year career. Jones-Drew had 101 yards on 23 carries while Jennings had 109 on five carries, including a 74-yard touchdown run.
PASS DEFENSE: D - The Jaguars were strafed by Jason Campbell, who completed 21 of 30 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns for a 127.6 passer rating. The Jaguars rank 28th in pass defense and this game showed why.
RUSH DEFENSE: D - The Jaguars' run defense has been solid lately, but Oakland gashed it for 153 yards, 123 by Darren McFadden. It was the first time they gave up 100 yards to a rusher since Thomas Jones of Kansas City got 125 in October.
SPECIAL TEAMS: A - The special teams were the difference as Kassim Osgood caused a fumble that Montell Owens recovered and Deji Karim ran 65 yards with a kickoff return to set up the winning score. And Adam Podlesh dropped three punts inside the 20, one knocked back from near the goal line by Osgood.
COACHING: B - The Jaguars made too many mistakes on defense, but they held together when Oakland had a 10-point lead and the ball at midfield midway in the third period. And they had a good offensive game plan.
