Jags add depth on the OL

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who had a huge need on the offensive line, used their round pick on Vince Manuwai an offensive guard out of Hawaii. The 6-foot-2 and 309 pound standout was the second-rated offensive guard by TFY.

Manuwai had fantastic season in 2002, especially at keeping defensive lineman off his quarterback. While playing Offensive guard for pass-happy Hawaii, the standout lineman allowed only a single sack. "I was mad about it", he told reporters, especially since it was a freshman from Fresno State who got by him.

The two-time All-WAC selection is known for his toughness and his strength. At the combine, he benched-pressed 225 pounds 27 times.

Manuwai does lack ideal size and he lacks run-blocking experience due to Hawaii's offensive scheme.
