Josh Scobee named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week today by the NFL. Scobee connected on two field goals last Sunday against the New York Giants including a 43-yard game-winner with 28 seconds remaining.
Scobee, who hit from 28 yards in the second quarter, put the finishing touches on the Jaguars largest comeback win in franchise history with his eighth career game-winning field goal. The Jaguars trailed 21-0 in the second quarter.
Through 12 games, Scobee has connected on 13 of 17 field goals and leads the team with 56 points.
