If all of the reports turn out to be true, and there's no reason why they shouldn't, the Jacksonville Jaguars should be one of the most improved teams in the NFL.
Jacksonville opened free agency by coming to terms with former Broncos tight end Julius Thomas, followed by an agreement with Cowboys offensive lineman Jermey Parnell. The Jaguars then agreed with former Dolphins first-round pick, defensive tackle/end Jared Odrick. Late last night the team had agreed to terms with former 49ers linebacker Dan Skuta.
We know that each of the signings inevitably won't work out perfectly, but a team that has a lack of roster depth and talent like the Jaguars do, these players will represent immediate upgrades, even if they don't play up to their potential.
With free agency about to begin at 4:00 today, the Jaguars have reportedly already found four starters. It's tough to say that they're not the early winners in this.
