What Can The Jags Expect In Round Two?

After a few questionable second-round draft picks, the Jaguars can go a long way in becoming competitive if they hit on their 36th overall pick. We're going to look at some of the players selected at that spot in recent history and who the Jaguars could look at in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Round Two- 36th Overall

Last five picks:Derek Carr, Darius Slay, Derek Wolfe, Colin Kaepernick and Dexter McCluster.

The early returns look very good on Carr and Kaepernick has undeniably been worth the pick. There’s still time for Darius Slay to develop but Wolfe and McCluster look like poor choices.

The Jaguars can address a lot of needs with their second-round pick. Despite signing Bernard Pierce, running back still remains a major area of concern. Although the running back position has largely been devalued, if a player such as Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley were to fall, it would be difficult to pass on one of them.

Jacksonville can further address offensive line needs as FSU’s Cameron Erving could be available, as well as Duke guard Laken Tomlinson.

On the defensive side of the ball, Virginia’s Eli Harold and Washington’s Shaq Thompson are possibilities, as well Erik Kendricks.

The Jaguars need to get a solid starter from their high second-round pick.
