WHAT TO WATCH FOR: WEEK 4 AT INDIANAPOLIS

 

DE Tyson Alualu:

·         Has played in 83 consecutive games since entering the league as a first-round pick (10th overall) in 2010, tied for the longest active streak by an NFL defensive tackle (CIN’s Domata Peko)

·         Alualu’s streak of 83 consecutive games played is the eighth longest in team history

·         Needs seven tackles for 325 in his career

·         Needs two tackles for loss to have registered multiple TFLs in all six NFL seasons

 

P Bryan Anger:

·          Ranks first in franchise history in career punting average (47.0) and net punting average (40.6)

·         Ranks third in team history with 91 punts inside the 20

·         Is nine punts inside the 20 shy of becoming the third Jaguars punter in franchise history to achieve the feat

 

OG Zane Beadles:

·         Has appeared in all 83 games since entering the NFL as a second round selection (45th overall) in 2010 with Denver.

·         His streak of 83 consecutive games played is the fourth longest active streak by an NFL offensive linemen

 

QB Blake Bortles:

·         Will make his 18th appearance and 17th career start on Sunday at Indianapolis

·         Is tied for the team-lead (Posluszny) with two passes defensed

WR Allen Hurns:

·         Is tied for the team-lead with 11 receptions

·         Has posted a reception in all 19 games since joining the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2014

·         His streak of 19 consecutive games with a reception is the longest by a Jaguars players since TE Ernest Wilford caught a pass in 19 straight games in 2006 (Week 15 – 17).

·         With a catch in Week 4 at Indianapolis, Hurns will join Jimmy Smith, Maurice Jones-Drew, Ernest Wilford, Marcedes Lewis and Mike Thomas as the only Jaguars in history to register a reception in 20 consecutive games

K Jason Myers:

·         First-year kicker has made 5-of-6 career field goals (83.3%), including a career-long 58-yarder in Week 2 vs. Miami

·         Leads the NFL with 92 tackles since becoming the full-time starting OLB for the Jaguars in Week 12 of the 2014 season

·         Has made five-plus tackles in nine consecutive games entering Week 4 at Indianapolis

 

C Stefen Wisniewski:

·         Has started all 64 games in which he’s played since entering the league as a second-round (48th overall) draft selection by Oakland in 2011.

 

RB T.J. Yeldon:

·         Has rushed more times (48 carries) than any other NFL rookie RBs
