Jaguars Jalen Ramsey is the highest rated rookie in Madden 17

The Jaguars rookie ranked ahead of Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot and Ravens offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley.

Although he was drafted fifth overall, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is Madden 17's highest-rated rookie, coming in at an 82 overall.

But even with the top rating, the Florida State product wasn't completely satisfied, discussing his thoughts on Twitter.

The top five, from fifth to second, included San Diego Chargers Joey BosaTampa Bay Buccaneers Roberto AguayoBaltimore Ravens Ronnie Stanley and Dallas Cowboys Ezekiel Elliott. And similarly to Ramsey, the players and other rookies were not satisfied with their ratings. Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch said his mother would be ashamed of his rating

Without playing a game, the Jaguars top pick has obviously gained the respect of not only his team but the video game world. If the Madden rating is any indication, the Jaguars can expect a lot out of Ramsey this year, even with the torn meniscus that has hobbled him early in the off season. Ramsey has said he's 100 percent, and that is good news for Jags fans.

The cornerback will provide a spark on a defense that finished 24th in the league in total yards per game a year ago. With the addition of Malik Jackson and the debut of Dante Fowler, the Jaguars will have an increased presence in the pass rush to go with a solid linebacker core and a secondary that's on the upswing, especially with the highly-touted Ramsey.
