Jaguars Rankings in Madden NFL 17

EA Sports Madden NFL 17 rankings are out, and Jacksonville finds itself tied for last place in the AFC South according to the popular video game. With an Overall Rating of 78, the Jags tie the Colts, while the 2016 division winning Texans check in at 81 and the Titans surprisingly sit on top at 82.

EA Sports Madden NFL 17 rankings are out, and Jacksonville finds itself tied for last place in the AFC South according to the popular video game.  With an Overall Rating of 78, the Jags tie the Colts, while the 2016 division winning Texans check in at 81 and the Titans surprisingly sit on top at 82.  The Patriots & "Madden Cover Boy" Rob Gronkowski are rated the highest AFC team with an 87 while the Browns sit in the basement with a 73.  

We found out last week that Jags rookie CB and 2016 first round pick Jalen Ramsey is the highest-rated rookie in this year's Madden with an 82, while fellow first year players Dante Fowler (77) & Myles Jack (76) are looking up at the former FSU product.  ProBowl WR Allen Robinson is the highest rated player in the 904 area code with an 88, followed by Malik Jackson on defense at 86.

Compared to the rest of the league, Blake Bortles was the #16 QB, Chris Ivory was the #18 RB, and Kelvin Beachum was the #15 Left Tackle.  

Other notes from the full release of player ratings:

-  4 players were perfect including AFC South hitman J.J. Watt (Gronk, Von Miller, & Luke Kuechly also.)

-  Jags Week 1 opponent & Packers Aaron Rodgers takes the cake as the best QB with a 96. 

-  Former Jag Blaine Gabbert was tied with Colin Kaepernick in San Francisco at 74.

-  Jags inactive/suspended WR Justin Blackmon didn't make it into the game.
