Pre-Game "2 Minute Drill" Bengals vs Jags

With the threat of severe weather in the area it's only just that we look at the next 4 QTRs with a barometer. There is a lot on the line and a device that measures air pressure only seems too perfect.

Gauge - It's a word you hear quite a bit.  What does it actually mean? Webster's Dictionary Defines it as the following: an instrument or device for measuring the magnitude, amount, or contents of something, typically with a visual display of such information.

So it's only appropriate that we view this the 3rd Jaguars pre-season game with the right gauge.   With the threat of severe weather in the area it's only just that we look at the next 4 QTRs with a barometer.  There is a lot on the line and a device that measures air pressure only seems too perfect.

Here is your "2 minute Drill"
2:00 - 2 losses for the Jags this pre-season.  I keep being told pre-season losses don't matter.  I think they don't count.  They DO matter.   You have a group of guys that never win.  Ever.  The Bengals are legit.  Starters will see a lot of time.  The Jags have struggled to make adjustments in the 3rd quarter.  A Big 3rd QTR with the starters would convince people this team has made an about face.
1:55 - Vontaze Burfict (55) isn't playing. That's too bad.  This O-Line needs practice against Pro-Bowl caliber talent.
1:45 - The may be Bjoern Werner's (45)  last stand.  He has been decent but when you come in on the bubble you need to stand out.  He really hasn't.  This game is monstrous for him.
1:36 - Josh Johnson (36) has a huge Pick 6 against the Bucs.  If he has another big play or two on D he is a shoe in to be on this team after the first wave of cuts next week.

1:14  Andy Dalton (14) is going to make a run at MVP. Done laughing?  Just wait and see.   This will be a great test for this revamped Jaguars secondary.
1:01 - Sam Ficken (1)  Not sure what he can do to make the team at this point.  He is good enough to be a kicker in this league.  He'll get a shot somewhere.
0:52 - The Bengals have won 52 games the last 5 regular seasons.  They remind me a lot of the 90's Ohio State Buckeyes teams under Jon Cooper.  They're good.   They'll be good this year too.
0:41 - Nick Marshall (41) has transitioned nicely to DB.  He will make the 1st waive of cuts.   The 2nd?   He is going to do something strong and memorable in the next 8 QTRs.
0:30 - Corey Grant (30) is almost a lock at this point.  As long as he doesn't give Gus Bradley a reason to cut him.  He'll make this team.
0:24 - TJ Yeldon (24) -Haven't seen a lot.  Would like to see something.  Big Run?  TD plunge?  HUGE block in protection?  Something.
0:09 - Brandon Allen (9) -Will this team carry 3 QBs?   Teams usually don't use draft picks on QBs unless they expect them to be on the roster.  Would he clear waivers?   Hmmm... This one will be interesting.
0:01   - 1 win.  Just 1 in front of the Everbank crowd would be big.  On the National stage on NBC Sunday Night Football it would be small step up the credability staircase.
