Daunte: Free At Last

Scout.com's Dan Leberfeld is reporting that the Dolphins have released quarterback Daunte Culpepper. Culpepper was scheduled to have a hearing this week with an arbitrator, as he was trying to gain his release from the Miami Dolphins who no longer have Culpepper in their future or present plans at quarterback.

With Miami finally granting Culpepper his release, both parties can finally go about their business without any more hard feelings. Culpepper's release now gives him nearly two weeks to find work and not miss any of his new teams training camp, whichever team that will be. The Jaguars have been rumored to have interest in Culpepper for a "supportive role", as confirmed by head coach Jack Del Rio over a month ago.
